Instant Film
These are all Instax Wide film. Some people refer to all instant film as Polaroid, because it’s the same concept. After you shoot it the image pops out of the camera. The color ones are all shot with gels to create different moods. The limited light sensitivity that instant film has ends up creating a distinct kind of low fi contrast. While working with instant film the model has the advantage of seeing what the work looks almost right away. This gives feedback to give all of us so we can tweak or find new poses. With the black and white instant I tend to focus on finding odd shapes.
