Revolution and Critical Thinking

Modern culture puts a heavy focus on revolution. Implied in this value is a solution that supplanting ideologies for opposing ones will solve critical issues. Among the masses, where revolution needs to take place, critical thinking only hinders movement. Because of this, it comes as no surprise that revolutions would discourage intellectual engagement especially when its proponents sense momentum.
